I took my first guided walk since I've been here. It was called Children, Charity and Change. It was around Holborn and Russell Square- all about the conditions for children in the city and what different charities did for them. Interesting.

The facade of the Foundling Museum

Looking down a typical Georgian street towards the back of the Royal Courts of Justice

The Sir John Soane Museum- he designed the Bank of England

The Great Hall of Lincoln Inn's Fields- one of the four Inns of court- all barristers in the UK belong to one of them

One of the Victorian water fountains that were put up to try to prevent Cholera

Another Victorian Fountain

A Georgian Street

(Not from the walk, I took it the other day) A catapault set up by the Tower.
