Civil War Reenacters

English Civil War Reenacters obviously from the 1640s. Every year on the last Sunday in January, the English Civil War Society parades from St James's Palace to the Banqueting House in Whitehall to hold a service on the anniversary of the execution of Charles I. He had his head chopped off by Parliament on the 30th of January. They are following the route that Charles took on the day of his execution. The reenacters lay a wreath in honour of Charles I- they are playing the original Cavaliers- ie the King's supporters, they are not Round heads or the Parliamentarians.
