Denmark Hill and Camberwell

A rare foray south of the river, I went on a tour of Camberwell and Denmark Hill. They were quite posh in Victorian times though a bit down on their luck later. Camberwell is quite trendy now, bits of it are quite expensive.

St Giles Church- the main parish church in Camberwell

The interior of a nonconformist church from the 1800s, ie not Church of England
Ruskin Park-named after John Ruskin who lived in Denmark Hill

William Booth College- college for the Salvation Army, apparently quite popular in South London
Station at Denmark Hill-built in 1860
