Mews and Hidden Passageways

I did a walk over the weekend around some of the mews in London (the former stables). I've been busy so haven't had the chance to update the blog

An example of a mews- most have been turned into posh dwellings

Some early 1900s homes- the mews would be behind

Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire

On Sunday, I did a tour on Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire (from the film, the Duchess Keira Knightley, plus a biography that I have about her- better than the film)

Spencer House- built by Georgiana's father, where she lived in London as a child- also ancestral home of Diana, Princess of Wales who descends from Georgiana
