Kennington and Christmas Decorations

On Saturday, I took a tour of Kennington- it's in South London- I'm a North Londoner so rarely go south of the river except for the South Bank!! Anyways, very interesting, Charlie Chaplin was born in the area. I also took a few pictures of the Christmas decorations in London- I would have taken more but my flash is pretty rubbish so the lights, etc. don't really show up.

The skating rink at Somerset House

The Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square- much prettier at night when it is lit up. It's a gift from Norway- they have given a tree every year since the end of World War II
The Tree at night- hard to see- that's the National Gallery in the background
